CPP, Old Age Security, GIS, and CPP Disability

All of these deposit on the same day each month:

Watch the gap at the turn of the year: the December 2026 payment (Tuesday, December 22) to January 27, 2027 is a five-week stretch — the longest of the year, every year, and the one that catches household budgets off guard.

Canada Child Benefit

Monthly, on the 20th or the last business day before it:

Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit

The rest of the calendar

The Advance Canada Workers Benefit pays three times in 2027 — in January, July, and October, in the second week of the month; the CRA confirms each exact date as it approaches (the Workers Benefit guide explains the amounts). The Canada Disability Benefit pays monthly, on the third Thursday. If a date above ever seems to slip by a day, cheques trail direct deposit by several business days — give a missing payment ten business days before calling it in.
